Solar PV

Recognising the market drive towards Renewable Energy Solutions, Electrical Generator Systems established a Solar PV Division, ELECTRICAL SOLAR SYSTEMS. With our comprehensive off-grid or hybrid solutions we are able to offer clean and reliable energy, reducing or eliminating the need for the National Grid.
We have an extensive network of expert engineers and technicians available to support with the design, installation and commissioning of any Solar PV system.
We are able to offer solutions from individual homes through to large-scale solar plants for factory and industrial use.

Grid-Tied Solar System

To reduce your energy consumption from the National Grid and to therefore reduce your monthly expenditure, this system will operate without batteries which in turn lowers your equipment and installation costs, giving a shorter payback period.  Note that in the event of load-shedding or National Grid failures, the Solar PV system is required to shutdown

Off-Grid Solar System

Utilising batteries, this system will allow total disconnection from the National Grid. This system will charge batteries from the Solar Panels and through the DC/AC Invertor will distribute this power through your home or facility. This system is perfect where there is regular Load-shedding, unreliable power supply or indeed no grid power at all.

It is further possible to link one of our Generator-sets to this system to ensure that you are covered in the event of a total system failure.

Hybrid Solar System

This system will utilise batteries whilst still being connected to the National Grid. Once the batteries are charged, the excess power will be transferred to the home or facility to reduce or even eliminate consumption from the grid. This system will still be able to operate in the event of Load-shedding or grid failure.

Beneficially, by maintaining your connection to the National grid, the system will intelligently consume power from the grid during off-peak hours or use the excess power from the solar panels.
